synopsis
A glimpse of a dystopian future where the cross contamination of genetic material runs out of control. A combination of 2D & 3D Animation creates an atmospheric world containing hybrid lifeforms
short fact
The film took about two years to make finally, in amongst several other projects. The budget was almost non existant, but with the use of borrowed equipment it is possible to make shorts within limited resources.

The film was largely made using after effects and is a mixture of actual photographs and 3d animated backgrounds.

The first time I saw this was at Latitude 2007 at gone midnight. At first it scared me witless, but by the end of the film I felt elated. I still have no idea why. Strangly uplifting.

Loved this film. Brilliant strong imagary. It being made on a shoestring actually adds to the mood I think.
Special effects are so advanced these days people do weary of them so this being so raw is really refreshing.
