synopsis
A girl sits by a window on a wet winter's day remembering a hot summer's day when she found her father crying in a field. She begins to fantasise about him drowning in a stormy sea...
short fact
This film is about love, loss and ways of dealing with it. The film is a little ambiguous in order to encourage the audience to use their own imaginations when interpreting it, and to read themselves into it.

It's too late to think about what I would do better now. But the lesson I learnt here was to have more discussion with other film makers whilst making the film, and to be more confident about what I am trying to say.

I like the color most of all/in this film I began to think about the Film-TIME MACHINE/the remake some years ago..from the simplicity of the WET/DRY attitude I think the movements made me look inside the up-down side of the film-maker..the film was very simple/the music was a nice addition about the moves of the characters..I think a happy ending was near the end(actually)when the dad climbed inside of the dory/but mostly the movie displayed wet-to-dry.

Lucy-brilliant animation which reminds me of some of the projects Raymond Briggs has been involved in such as 'When the Wind Blows' and the 'Snowman' as far as the artwork/animation is concerned. So keep on keepin' on in 2006 and beyond-Regards Phil Johnson.

Beautiful. I tried to figure it the narrative out...but I can't think to... is the man in the flood the father of the mother, or the father of the child. Is it leaps into past events? Or is it leaping into dreams? The story is very abstract, but does it matter? I think not. It is wonderful to see this type of imagery.
