synopsis
365 was set in motion in April 2002 and is a recording of every text message that was sent to me for the following year. The result is an abstract piece that is very personal, yet at the same time very explorative of the use of today's technology.
short fact
"I started to collect text messages that were sent to me one day, and became obsessed with not letting one pass by without being recorded. The next thing I knew a year had passed and I had 40 A4 pages worth of recorded texts. So I made them into a film which accompanies a massive print of the entire collection.

The film took around 12 months to complete, and everything was created, shot and animated by me, using illustrator, photoshop and after effects. The hardest thing about this was the recording process, which very nearly drove me crazy."

Great concept for a short film. Must have been painstaking to record texts. I myself have often wondered what mobile networks do with text data? Whether it is stored in giant databases which historians of the future will decipher like hieroglyphics for example l8r=later to gain an understanding of our language and society...

Great work on the animation !
But seriously it was lacking in content.. [not textual though !]

Seemed more like an advert to me !

a fantastic showcase of your talents with the fx work, but i can't help but feel very dissapointed that such a good concept would not actually deliver more than just catching the odd word and therefore deliver no substance. I feels like a trailer for the film you have yet to make.

Nice work on the efx/animation
Although the duration was too short and there was hardly any information for the audience to reason with and understand the concept and meaning of the film.

for me there was enough "exploration of the use of todays technology", it was pretty cool but didnt really grab me.
