synopsis
Two schoolgirls jump on the bus to go home. Monique texts a boy they met at the weekend. Being best friends, the girls do everything together... up until this moment. Monique gets her first proper date and Shaya isn't invited.
short fact
I overheard bits of this conversation on the top deck of the Number 38. I used this as the basis of the script and then workshopped it with teenage girls to see what fitted and what didn't.

Nice intimate film. Good performances. Works well within the time. Kept me engaged.

People would say these girls can't act, but in fact their performance is very realistic and contemporary. Now that's what I call Method acting.

Loved the cinematography, actors could have been better though, I could quite easily spot the wrong accent creeping through. Good editing job.

Very very nice camera work and good acting from the main cast. Shame about that extra looking at the camera like someone else said. But I am impressed!

Great film. I want to see a sequel!

    Nice performances and plausible dialogue.
