synopsis
Angel is a short film comprising live action, animation and photography. Set to a reading by Nicole Blackman called "Assassinations", with sound design by Anton Fier, Angel's haunting visual style is reminiscent of 20th Century European animation and
Eastern shadow puppetry.

    Thought the look and style was awesome but hardly anything happened, very little animation or any kind of movement and more to the point not really interacting a great deal with the words of the reading in my opinion. Interesting and stylish as a graphic piece, lacking as a film.

    I like that this film didn't try to be more than it was. Visually it leads one forward. It holds the interest and intrigues. The sound and voiceover was simple but strong. Lovely voice by the way. I like this. It gives a sense of completion often lacking in experimental work...
