    Dear Ian and Richard -

Great start - mood, editing, pace. Very effective shooting angles throughout.

I clocked the phone call gag as soon as I saw the next band member getting on. It seemed the call might come earlier but the racking up of the tension with the boy shouting was effective.

However, I don't really buy the logistics of the bus coming back to the same spot as it had started from (you don't indicate that the now conscious French horn player has travelled anywhere else to try and catch up with his band). Buses do go in loops, but the others would've got off by the time our driver and not-quite-dead passenger would meet again.

Kinda spoils the impact for me.

Bus driver has a great face but I'd of liked to have been with him more BEFORE he pulls the trick on the tubby french horn player. That way we can think his prank is a bit funny - then it goes wrong.

Then we're closer to him as he's under pressure as more of the band get on. Not sure that we need tubby horn player to reappear at end - enough for Driver to realise his prank has hurt (many) others.

    Well made film. Respect.

Very good, really enjoyed it. Loved the intro, sets the bus driver character up beautifully, get a good sense of his self-satisfaction.

What a film! Mr Finlay creates an explosive atmoshpere in this short and the melancholic dark eye behind the camera comes across really well. A dark and dangerous piece, more please...
