synopsis
Two young filmmakers Obi and Dil like making non-mainstream films but they just can’t get funding for them. Unluckily for them, Big Al is the only man in town willing to give the boys money – but money to make a 'Big Al' film. His dream is to make the ultimate cross-genre flick, a mix of Cockney Gangster and Indian Bollywood.

A highly entertaining and sympathetic short film, laced with a well crafted script and prudent direction. The aesthetic composition of the narrative is well intended and complements the film’s overall style, a cultural extravaganza of ‘Cockney gangster grimness and Bollywood Massala Delight.’ Dishad serves us a true spice-tickling, mouth-watering, belling-rumbling, starter of a short film. I now linger, seduced and famished for the main course and desert!

Had me in a fit of laughters. For a second, I switched off during the intro because it was too long, but I soon decided to give it another go, forwarding it by a few seconds. I'm glad I did. It was hilarious.
