Director Simon Ellis has been on something of a world tour in recent months, supporting his Cinema Extreme short Soft, and also attending retrospective screenings of his previous films. He's also been collecting numerous awards along the way (see how he fared at the Hamburg Short Film Festival in his previous video diary, right), and his carbon footprint got even larger when he touched down on the north Japanese island of Hokkaido for the Sapporo Short Film Festival recently.
