synopsis
1 minute 59 seconds reflecting the penultimate two days of the Routemaster Bus service number 159. The clear lines, textures and classic design elements, playing off the deep rumble of the engines, the clear ting of the bell and the reveries of passengers and conductors - all set to a mesmeric rhythmic original soundtrack.
short fact
"Made in response to the Routemaster Film Challenge in 2005, RM159 was one of the 10 chosen films to show in the final showing in February 2006. I had two days to shoot - no idea of a story, but determined to capture the feel of this icon. I then edited for one week before working with a talented composer and sound designer to complete the project."

This film is really visually interesting and evocative - drawing on details and design features of the Route Master buses so known and loved on London streets. One might well think "I never looked at a bus like that" when watching this. I did.
