I understand the wrongfulness of the practice but the film I felt was irritating to the extent that I had to abandon it. The constant droning did not help.

I found it on youtube and myspace as well. Does anyone know what on earth this is and where it has come from?

I do not know exactly which of the genitalia are removed and was hoping the film would tell me.It didnt.I presume it is the clitoris only?Perhaps peoples primitive religious beliefs could have been expanded upon making the film controversial and going someway towards outlawing this primitive practise.

I think this is a strong piece about important subject matter and very nicely put together.
In answer to the 'criticism' below, using voice without showing the speaker stimulates an additional layer of imagination in the viewer, and only enhances a film and its message.
Everything Was Life dares to be experimental without becoming masturbatory. And thats not easy to accomplish!

Just goes to show that animation can touch the emotions. I really like this film and think that it has a raw energy that pulls you in.
