synopsis
Sarah, a shy young photographer, can't believe her luck when she's hired to take pictures of Ben Dixon, the hottest young movie star on the scene. She can't help but fall head over heels for him, and before she knows it she's waking up with him in her bed. But to him, Sarah's just another notch in his bedpost. When he heartlessly dumps her she's devastated. She tries to forget him, but images of him invade her mind and pursue her from every direction. She tries to destroy them, throw them away, but they are relentless. Finally, she resolves to take her revenge, the only way she knows how. She grabs her camera and heads to Dixon's latest celebrity bash for an explosive showdown!
short fact
"The idea was to do all the effects 'on camera'. We would make one stop-motion animation; then print every frame of that onto photo paper; then make a second animation of a character looking at the photo – in each frame of this, the photo is replaced with the next one on the pile. This meant the film had to be shot in a very specific order.

The exteriors were filmed during a bitterly cold winter: the actors had to sit still for extended periods. Post was the biggest challenge: thousands of frames had to be Photoshopped by hand, and I had to write several pieces of new software. Production took about a year."

Overall, this was a refreshing concept and I did find it genuinely funny so well done!

Very interesting - the effects were fantastic - one of the most unique films on here.

Where there actually ten thousand pictures? The ideas were great and not too macabre. I would like to see more shorts like this. Thanks very much!

Very very well made, the whole still frame style works alot better than it should. Kinda hard to get the story, but still very well made using the different pictures to tell the story.

What a fantastic short. I just loved being transported through the story in photographic themes. It looked like so much fun to film. Everyone involved should be very proud of this piece of work.
