synopsis
After falling into a deep sleep, our hero is 'stolen' and whisked through a magical night-time countryside on the back of a truck.
His ultimate destination is completely absurd.
short fact
"Dragonfly was commissioned after winning the BBC New Music Shorts competition. The song reminded me of an idea I'd had for a while, one of those little one-line dreams you put in your notebook. Then the song informed the story and execution so I hope they compliment each other.

It's nice to have the opportunity to tell a story to music - I don't see that enough, and I think a song like this warrants one.

Filmed on Super 16 with beautiful day-for-night photography and subtle, magical effects, dragonfly is as much a short film as a promo. Natural performances compliment M Craft’s ethereal music, and the whole piece plays out like a sleepy, lucid dream."
