synopsis
When Jack and Jill's baby began crying incessantly they thought it was a phase. Nine months later they were still hoping. Every Saturday Jack takes the baby downtown, away from Jill for a few precious hours, to let her regain some semblance of sanity. Sitting on a park bench, feeling like the oldest twenty-two year old in the world, Jack can’t imagine his life will ever be normal again. If only they had a baby that didn’t cry so much. If only they had a baby that wasn’t intent on destroying their relationship. If only they had a baby like everyone else’s. Fate decides to lend Jack a helping hand…
short fact
"From the start we knew Jellybaby would make a great short film because it was a whacky script full of hilarious surprises. We thought the engaging nature of it would make a film that an audience would really respond to.

The film has universal themes, in that many parents at one time or another find themselves confronted with a baby whose incessant crying is ruining their relationship and driving them insane. So in a sense its a fantasy, because although the temptation might be great, no sane parent would ever dream of doing what Jack and Jill do just to get some peace and quiet."

Clever film this, I loved the use of humour with the baby dropping scene very funny. Lots of content for such a short film. Actors ability to switch from frustrated to contented parents was very well portrayed. Excellent value for money. I really loved it.

Really, really good. Good clever script, good direction/editing, good acting. Good comedy. I'd recommend it to anyone. Nah, it's better than good.

I dunno if i fit into your target audiencwe being a single 20 year old guy, but I thought this was genius. really great. just a really successful execution, with spot on acting.. i think those actors just made this so much of what it is.

Nice film with accomplished cinematography, good pacing and some laughs thrown in. Every parent can relate to this one.
