synopsis
Set in the Caribbean north of Colombia, Chance is the unbelievable yet true story about individuals and communities that found numbers on frogs and tortoises and used them to bet and win on the "Chance", a gambling game which uses the lottery numbers.
short fact
"I like going to remote places with a vague idea about the type of characters I might meet and the stories they can tell. Then I trust in randomness and luck in the hope of finding the real reason.

Chance was the result of one of those trips, knowing only a little about what happened."

a pretty cool film.. i think i could have been shorter and perhaps a little more to the point. An interesting concept.. I kept watching out of pure curiosity. i liked the end 'does the from just appear, or does it decide this is where ill leave the luck.'

I love it. A gem of a film that captures the gentle fatalism and capacity of these villagers to see the miraculous or magical as common place and universal.
