synopsis
A technically astonishing circular shot depicts how a community fete descends into chaos and mayhem. To begin with all appears calm and well until dogs die, electricity cables cross, giant books topple and mouths start to bleed. Revolution is the third film in the Civic Life series by film makers Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor. Revolution involved 91 people from Lambeth in the shooting and was filmed on location at the YMCA on Stockwell Road during a sunny afternoon in September 2004.
short fact
"We desperately needed gorillas for this film and during a casual conversation with our new neighbours one day we discovered they actually tour a gorilla act.

Revolution is part of the DARKLIGHT Compendium Vol.1 DVD."
