Are the twins double trouble or twice as nice when it comes to Eurovision glory?

Let us know what you think about our bubbly Yorkshire lasses in this thread.

Francine & Nicola are fab and will do a grand job in Russia.

Having seen these girls live, several times, I can vouch that they can sing.

Go get em girls.

Will the girls perform "I Lose Control" it's a great track.

They have got nice voices, but I just find them too annoying. I will wait till Saturday to comment on them though as I will give them a chance..

Are these the same girls who were arrested for profanity towards Barnsely supporters at a football match?

They have lovely voices and are lovely people but I don't want them to go to Moscow because they won't be able to cope with the pressure.

That's hysterical! Proves they've never been able to take criticism - swearing at fans instead of gracefully turning the other cheek and now turning on the waterworks when the pressure is too much. They will fall to pieces. They are the only untrained act in the competition - all the others have experience of singing in front of a live audience and under intense pressure.

They have very good voices, but would they cope with the pressure at Eurovision. That Sheef Wed v Barnsley article is hilarious. Fair play to them.

That IS incorrect:

Apperances at music festivals including the prestigious O2 Wireless Music in London's Hyde Park and Twin played to more than a quarter million people in 2006 LIVE and in 2007 played at the annual Sladefest.

The Hillsborough "incident" was a knee jerk reaction to the abuse they suffered, will they have to pay for that one mistake for the rest of their careers?

To say that these girls crack under pressure is stupid, after the dissapointment of X Factor (and some of the finalists had NO talent whatsoever)it was the occassion and the chance to prove to the doubters like "Where's Wogan" AND Simon Cowell that they became emotional.

The girls have an unreleased album which is brilliant and would give any chart act a run for their money, they have had songs written for them by some of the BIGGEST names in the music biz.

Im also worried about these young girls. No doubt about their talents, but they are still vulnerable towards pressure and criticism. Again, it is nice to see them represent Britain as a new talent, but again Eurovision wants professional well known artists.

I love the twins, I think they are our best chance out of all the acts. As Mark will be in competition with Sakis and Jade will be competing with Hadise, the twins have no rivals so wont have to have their points split with another entry.

I don't like all the hype surrounding them. Luckily for them they will probably get through on friend's votes alone! They have ok voices, but like Simon Cowell said - they are like a pair of bananas.

Well since I have twins of my own and I come from Yorkshire there is bit of a leaning there. yes they can sing too. As long as they can get a grip of their emotions they would do well as twins do tend to turn heads naturally. I know that as I have had more attention for my identical girls than my singleton boy - maybe just the kind of attention needed for folk to pay attention to the song in the first place!!

They seem nice girls, but I don't think they will be able to take the pressure.

Doing 'Your Country Needs You' is one thing, but actually being in front of a crowd of millions and cameras from all around the world is another.

I think it would all get to them, sorry girls.

I have to disagree, they do have personality and credibility, they are well known musically, and from the messages on here and the word on the street, they clearly have a strong following.

What I like about them is that they're just normal girls who do normal things and just happen to have great voices! Eurovision needs fun and talent and I think they are just what Eurovision needs.

As for Damien - seems it wasn't to be after last night's show. In fairness, Damien wasn't the worst act - I think Charlotte should have gone last night.
