All the best to you Chops. Thanks for setting up the thread on the other website (check your PMs again), it made a suitable replacement for this thread www.bbc.co.uk/dna/en...

Best wishes chaps and chappesses.

Yes, it must be something in the name!

We have no gripes with Heather, just the BBC and some of the local BBC decisions.

Good bye everyone.

Thank you for the link-up ideas and for all the friendships which I have made and intend to continue.

Heather.

Well...

I suppose that's it!..

All the very best to everyone I've got to know on this messageboard, many of whom have now become personal friends..

G-d bless..

...& don't forget to listen on Solent & SCR on Sunday afternoons at 2pm to the best presenter.. & who's that?... Well... MIKE POWELL of course!... In my honest opinion there's not a nicer presenter on the air... & I mean that!... Whereas many on the airwaves appear to be ok, but are actually on an ego trip.. he isn't. What you hear is what you get. In other words the guy is genuine & really cares about his listeners. Good on ya Mike!..

Well done SCR.. Good move!!!..

Thanks to Auntie Beeb for the messageboards & a special "Thank you" to our longsuffering Hostie for a brilliant sense of humour & continual patience! Thanks..

Bye for now y'all..

Keith in Woking.....:-D

Yes, all the best to Heather from me too. And it was lovely to see a posting from John Radford too.

You're all welcome on [Unsuitable/Broken URL removed by Moderator] to discuss the new presenter line-up when it starts next week. I wonder if it'll be enough to tempt back all those lost listeners.

I agree with everything Keith says about Mike Powell. His shows are interesting, he's a really friendly, genuine presenter and has his "family" of listeners - just like the four well-loved SCR presenters who we all miss. Mike is definitely the best now!!<star>

Best wishes to you all.

I agree that Mike Powell is great. I like the sound of Sunday afternoon and early evening and Drive Time during the week will be far better now with the wonderful Sarah. I am glad that JT will now have a regular spot and he will be in early enough to deputise for the World, as usual!
