Sexy underwear

Do you find that, as you plough through the complexities of life, where once you thought you were in a minority you discover that you could have been in tune with the majority afterall? The last time I bought sexy underwear I was 50 years old and still menstrating. One last ditch to get pregnant. (my feelings at that time being what made me feel good about myself)
Confess to having guilty feelings that selfishly trying to satisfy my urge may have contributed to Mr Pom's Stroke. I wonder if an anti campaigning, the like of stopping the manufacture of sexy underwear for children, will reveal that I was part of a majority in that respect too.

Pom is going to have a new image on bbcmessageboard forum

I haven't yet watched that part of the show Pom but my initial reaction was extreme annoyance - why can't children just be left to being children for a few years - there's always someone trying to make them grow up too fast <grr>

My immediate response was that to stop that ridiculous manufacturer, all parents have to do is not buy it - but then you think of some of the 'parents' that children have to put up with and you just know they'll buy it :-(

And what sick mind thought of putting 5 year olds into sexy underwear to begin with <grr>

Bring back the stocks, the ducking stool and public flogging!!!!

The last [and only] time I bought sexy underwear was for my Honeymoon - 20 years ago <laugh>

Ex-hubby subsequently took all the pleasure out of sex. The nasty little man! <steam>

Besides; if the bloke doesn't make the effort in the bedroom department, why should I be expected to? ;)

Hi Astro. I too sort of thought that and then someone said that it shouldn't be sold because 'there are enough teenage pregnancies in this country'. As I say, I had thought that I was a minority woman who would wear sexy under wear if it turned 'us' on enough to make a baby.

Pom doesn't think that the school curriculum should include compulsory religious or sex education. Stick to the 3 R's

I agree Pom.

If I'm being honest, I don't understand the need for so called 'sexy underwear' - what's the point of that? I have no intention of dressing like a cheap tart to tittilate anyone!!

And Tet - if a bloke came in all tarted up, I would roll in laughter (and I'm afraid I did do exactly that) - it's just something I don't understand the need for. If your partner doesn't turn you on just by being them, then I think the repair kit for the relationship will require more than a trip to Ann Sumthing shop (already been modded this morning <laugh>).

One last saucy post before we all disappear eh? (only to resurrect Chez Tet).

Had most enjoyable time taking the engagingly large Lady Lysis around the Modes de Madame shops pre-Christmas - at her request - to find sexy undies to make her feel good about herself. With guidance as to desired items I purchased same and had it gift wrapped. As a result I did not realise said "outfit" came with a thong. Arrived in bedroom to find La Lysis wound up in contortions, having put thong on and being totally unable to find it again. Resultant slapstick and paroxisms of laughter from us both far sexier than expensive underwear. Humour - the best aphrodysiac.
The hardwear on the other hand fulfills all expections - hers for tireless and infallible "smile for a week" effect and his for something mechanical to learn to drive and get techy about. Contrary to all expectations it spells togetherness in a big way.
Ends on rude note - see you at Tet's Happy Easter

No Lysis.

Pom off to look for the Dwain Chambers thread.

I happened to be listening to 'Whole Lotta Rosie' whilst reading your post <laugh>

The mental image & song married up so well <laugh> - in a strange kinda way <blush>

Astro the manufacturers know the value of pester power and fully exploit this for their own profit without a thought of what it is doing to young kids. They are bombarded with advertising at every turn. For instance young boys growing up with nothing but page three and zoo magazine as a totally unreal start point for any relationship they may try and make latterly.
