Laughter is a tonic

Thank you all. I've finally got it. With the help of the beeb messageboard I've been searching for something that I have lost along the way. Alright, I've been able to laugh but I'd forgotten the benefit of actually being able to join in with laughter. I would name names but they are too many and I'd run the risk of leaving someone out... Alright Ram and Grumpy kick started me with their banter about joining the Tettie boarders. Dave. I was able to enjoy the latest you tube more when Girl Pom joined in. Barney. When are you coming over? V.T. that has been grating me for weeks - your dismissal of anecdotes. Amp I couldn't live without them. A quick mention for Mr W and our meeting at the trip traps. The team of Top Gear - yes I can laugh at their antics but nothing compares to all those giggles I've had during my life when I was joining in. My 90 + year old friend who showed me that it didn't cost money to make her happy - just a photo of her sitting on my Honda with my crash helmet perched on top of her head. (she was a first born too Amp)I'm doing it aren't I. Leaving people out. I told you. Too many to mention have joined me in laughter and the likes of Jim Hawkins, Eric Smith, Lysis, Bazza....all the Tettie boarders.....have helped me remember those magic moments.

Pom off to watch Patch Adams for the second time. The sad bit has been putting me off but there's too much to miss if I don't repeat.

Pom, click on here later (after 12 I think) and click then on the morning show with Fran Finn.

She had two laughter therapists on the show this morning. they teach people to laugh and it seems one minute of laughing burns more calories than jogging.

Hi Grumpy

I haven't weighed myself for years and I see no reason to start that - nearly all nutritionists will tell you to dump the bathroom scales.

If my clothes feel tight then I know more exercise and cut out the sweets until they feel comfy again!! No need for depression on a set of scales :-)
