Are you a nice person?

Me? No. But you must admit that there is a certain irony in huffing and puffing about "speaking ill of the dead" when all I did was show how the recentl-departed Mr Smith had passed on an illegal suggestion that would certainly result in the grief of the recently-bereaved being intruded upon by the police.

Quoted from this message

VT, I'm sure he'd enjoy his name being used in that way...

And the speaking ill of the dead was in jest, as I'm sure you are aware.

I am sure yours was, jonah. trip trap wandy, on the other hand, clearly meant it (in as much as anything he says ever means anything) in message 671.

Mine most certainly wasn't!

The wannabe speed king has a venomous mouth, and cowers behind anonymity.

See jonah -- told you wandy thought he was being serious.

Mind you, anyone who accuses another poster here of "cowering behind anonymity," or makes up ridiculous hyperbolic accusations like describing me as a "wannabe speed king" because I made the mistake of explaining to him that I do know a bit about about driving fast because I do it on race tracks from time to time... well, "being serious" is not really an adequate descriptor.

Here you go Pom, a site dedicated to making our roads safer by a real safety campaigner (sadly deceased)<peacedove>

www.safespeed.org.uk...

Quoted from this message

No-one in their right mind is going to take seriously anything spouted out by that extremist organisation - a so-called safety group that want to abolish road safety equipment - equipment that has, is doing and will save lives. I've looked at their website - it's worse than the rubbish wandywabbit comes out with!

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the House Rules in some way.
