Tomorrow, I think, and to be honest, it's probably about time.

Richard is pleasant enough (and he's read most of my comments out, which is more than Rob does <laugh>) but there's something annoying "educated" about him ...

He can obviously be as controversial as he wants and he can mention as many brand names as he wants, but if a caller does that they soon get chopped off in their prime, regardless of whether or not the listeners were enjoying the call.

What I mean when I say he gets away with blue murder is, The content of the show is so lame, tame and sweetness. Don't rock the boat Rob !!

I agree, at least Richard Spurr wasn't afraid to discuss some of their more serious topics with his callers which made for a compelling programme.

I think Rob just relies on his core listeners in the 95+ age group that think of him as a nice comfy old pair of slippers and don't wish to talk about anything more exciting than "sell by" dates on the side of porridge packets.

Is that all I have to look forward to in 30 years time when I am 95...sell by dates on the side of porridge packets and not on the top or bottom of the packet?
Keep smiling
Yours

Well, last night, the subject that Rob chose to entertain his listeners was wedding rings and whether or not they should be taken off.

Consequently, there were very few callers on the show.

One lady did call and tried to raise the subject of the standard of reading tuition in schools, but I got the impression that the subject was a little too controversial for Rob.
