Wonder how long it will be until some bleeding heart civil liberties type suggest the knife wielding thug should sue the police for injuries sustained from dog bites<erm>

As long as the dog handler gives the warning that the dog will be released then there should be no comeback from the erm... crim<ok>

Jonah,

I was just being my usual cynical self mate:)

I think you know my views on this sort of thing, if you're not doing anything wrong you've not got anything to worry about. Being honest I don't care if the handler gave the warning or not, the thug got what was coming his way<ok>

I used to think like that then Stefan Kizko was released. I'm pretty sure he issn't alone in his innocence.

Anyway, yeah, this bloke appears to be deserving of a lengthy prison sentence<ok>

Can't argue with you on that. Unfortunately here will always be errors.

What I really meant was that if a copper shouts "Stop" at you and you have done nothing wrong your best move is to stop therefore not giving any reason for further action (ie release of dog, discharge of firearms)

Since you are the first one to make the suggestion of suing the police, Derby&Proud, it seems that you are a bleeding heart civil liberties type. Only took you just a few minutes.

I feel we don't give enough credit to or appreciation of the boys in blue and the daily task they face in dealing with the world's dark underbelly.
This man must face a considerable prison term if our justice system is to have any credibility.
But someone will probably rescue him from that, telling the court how dreadfully sorry he is and how he was only doing it because he came from a broken family. :(

The trouble with this country is that we just have too many police officers. They are so efficient at keeping crime to a minimum that we can afford to send a team from Scotland Yard to Pakistan to investigate the scene of a crime where someone was killed and has already been hosed down with water.

No wonder we couldn't pay them what they were awarded by the independant team of people set up to decide a fair settlement.

I don't know why Gordon Clown doesn't use this as a vote getter.

Police costs up just 1.8%
Gas costs up 24%
Electricity costs up 27%
What value for money our plod are under Labour.
