P.S. All this building expansion for airports, motorways, housing etc reminds me of the poem "We Are Going to See the Rabbit" by Alan Brownjohn.

Quite right, remove all the rabbits, they are not from here as the Normans bought them in.

I thought the government were trying to reduce flights to save the planet!!!

Quoted from this message

When will they in control realise that you can only expand so far?

Why does anywhere have to go under concrete just to please The Businessman or Shareholder to get bigger returns all of the time?

I think it's about time 'They' were all told "Make do with what you've got, and form an orderly queue" !

Surely more people are crying out for more buses and trains to be put into service, but what do we get?
Nowt!
So, why should we allow more planes to be able to fly, make them queue and wait like the rest of us have to, the world won't come to a grinding halt if no more runways are laid down, then perhaps Big Business will start getting their collective acts together?

But how many Lords of the manor etc pulled down villages because they spoilt the view. I know of quite a few, with only a small amount having new housing built.

Sec230

If that was still the case HM Queen would have Slough razed to the ground, it must spoil the view from Windsor Castle.

Quoted from this message

Now we're getting somewhere. Razing Slough to the ground is a great idea. Where do I sign ?
