After listening to the heart rending story from a Mum who last her daughter to a RTA caused by a speeding motorist, I realize the importance of doling out punishment. This lady's grieving process is helped by being involved with the justice system. She was a bit disappointed that the offender only got 6 years prison sentence - 14 years was available to the judge. Is society letting our grieving citizens down?
Pom so thankful she has been taken off the road.

Pom, you have several options, buy a horse (donkey, Camel of Elephant) and ride or with a cart drive round, or get an electric bicycle, no licence needed. There is a third option, get the oldboy retrained. A stroke only knocks out part of the brain, whats left can, with training, and a greatdeal of sweat and tears, take over. Just think, your very own chauffeur.

Patsy. I'm not quite sure how to take that but as I think/hope you know that of all the posts on here yours I appreciate the most. You call a spade a spade and telling me to stop feeling the victim a while back really got me thinking and, dare I say the words not approved of by the psychy specialists, made me "pull myself together." So thanks <hug> Now to my alzheimer thread.....
