ABL you are so intense of the subject of Gay people. Yet why is there violence towards Asian women.

You blogged your name as Asian boy. Why are Asian women so controlled, and if they don't, they are murdered!

Two recent cases, one in the UK and one in Canada.

Because these women did not conform to the dictates of their family, they were killed.

Asian Boy. I do not bring this up as a challenge to you, but to think what you say, when it comes to the value of life.

Life and love in any form is beautiful.

Dear God another one of your awful 'messages' about love. This is obviously what Frank was talking about when he told me of the dangerous side effects of the popular recreational drug ecstasy. I mean I have taken E and got dehydrated and collapsed and nearly died but jibbering on about love and the value of life. Well to think I could have ever ended up there chills me to the bone.

Oh yes and Bazza. Stop talking whack about Asia's womenz. Asia makes up 60% of the planet's population. It is not continental policy to murder the 30% that are female. In fact certain parts of Asia are so advanced they even practice Christianity instead of Muslim.

Taff. I have the greatest respect for people, as I am one of them also!

My respect for any culture fades, when they have no respect for human life. Even their own children!

Recently Toronto and London. need I say more?

Well I had no idea I had to respond to a dictum that takes the case of two honour killings and extrapolates to an entire culture. I shall refer you to the work of social anthropologist Dr Apeneck:

'that before even the first few days had passed it had become obvious that to talk of Asian culture was to become superfluous. It will be absent in any subsequent discourse and should perhaps have been absent thus far. I hold a little shame therefore that this entire expedition was patronised on its premise but hope my patrons will enjoy what I have found as 'a happy accident'...'

'... indeed the proliferation of culture across the asian continent has led me to organise my findings into what I have identified as the major cultural sub-groups: The towelhead, the inscrutable, the peasant and the Volcano people.'

As you can see there really isn't any evidence and certainly not in the authoritative study of Dr Apeneck that honour killing is part of any of the major subgroups of Asian culture. It should probably be regarded more as an aberration.

"Aberration"! What an interesting word to use, for the taking of an innocent human life!

What people dont realise is that although Homosexual acts are no longer Illial, and civil ceremonies are comeing/are in, pretty much everything else IS illigal.

Gay artwork, literature, and other things connected to it ARE illigal. I dont realy understand why ...

Sorry I dont understand what you mean.

But on a sepperate note, i find it hysterically funny that a law decided what people should and shouldnt be allowed to do in bed. How on earth did they enforce it for starters ? <laugh>

"i find it hysterically funny that a law decided what people should and shouldnt be allowed to do in bed. How on earth did they enforce it for starters ?"

I know! the fact is that they couldnt proove it, so a family member / "freind" would report it, and they would proove it through their behaviour.

Ever heard of Oscar Wilde? they convicted him of being gay from efeminate (sp?) actions like covering his mouth when he laughed. The Whole of British society changed becayse of the trial of Oscar Wilde. Today, men on the continent, and indeed the world, greet eachother with kisses to the cheeck, walk arm in arm, embrace eachother freely etc. It used to be the same in Britain, but after Oscar Wilde was locked up all men stopped it in fear of being accused of Homosexuality.

Mad world

What is the point of your Blog posting?

Why do some of them moan so much..

In Russia
"One journalist was attacked because he wore an earring, which led nationalists to say he was gay.

Police intervened to arrest dozens of gay rights activists and only rarely detained their attackers"

Why do they say "gay actvist" ?

Activist.
A person who believes in or particiaptes in direct action to make changes in government or social conditions by campaigning in public or working ...

If your gay your pretty much an activist by default.
