My heart breaks for the family, you are in my prayers.
may God forgive those who thought to blame the parents - no parent is perfect - there but for the grace of God go many.
God bless.

Please can you send this message to the McCanns not post it on the board. Dear Mr and Mrs McCann, my heart is breaking for you. I wish that there was something I could give or do to help bring her back to you, I would give years of my life if I could. I know I am only one of many. All I can do is pray that she will be with you soon, safe and sound. That is what I will pray for and plead for and hope for and for which I will keep my faith. With love and all hope.

Not a Christian, but I will agree with Harriet.

The Grandparents are now saying the police are inexperienced. The only inexperience shown in this matter, were two, so called intelligent people, leaving a three year old, and two, two year olds on their own in a strange apartment, in a strange country. Perhaps Grannie should be giving some advice to her daughter.

to the Mc Cann,s Gerry and Kate and all there family and freinds what you must be going though is indescribable .Mine and my familys thoughts and prayers are with you and we pray for a good outcome to this and hope your daughter will soon be with you back in the care of excellent parents which you obviously are .Take no notice of those who claim you have done anything wrong as parents there will always be times when children are left a short distance from us myself and my wife have done exactly the same as have most parents and those who claim they have not have a very selective memory. The only thing that is important now is to concentrate every effort to get Madeleine returned to you and your family.

I am a parent and have freinds who are parents and have lived long enough not to judge people .The Mc canns deserve our respect and sympathy I stand by what i have stated they were a short distance away from there children ie 50 yards a lot of peoples gardens are more that 50 yards long and most people would think it fine to leave young children asleep while they were in there gardens.By the way kent phillip is my real name.>

-Natja- I think you are very rude. Do you remember posting this. You seem to think it is ok for your friends to leave their children alone.

Message 27 - posted by --Natja--**, Yesterday
Here where I live, single moms leave their children regular alone. Some have a dog who has to go out when the children are asleep. Some have a baby and a school going child. They pick up the child from school while the baby is sleeping.
They have to make choises.

First, they're not my friends. They're people who live in the same area as I do. And no I don't think it's ok.
But that's the problem with some prejudiced peole who don't read what's written. I've never said they're my friends, and I've never said I think it's ok what they do.
I even proposed(?)to some who live near me to walk their dog in the evening when I walk mine. I don't think though it's nessecary to tell this.

if you are going to quote me you should put the whole of what is written so it cannot be taken out of context i do not judge people but what is written in your message proves you do .

That I do.

Leaving young children defenceless is wrong

Message 60 - posted by Jupiler , May 10, 2007

Of course it's wrong. I think everyone agrees with that. But I think you just can not defend your child for a lunatic who wants to harm. A thing what happened when I was very pregnant what really freaked me out was some crazy woman who wanted a baby, just cut a baby out of the belly of a very pregnant woman. TG the baby and the mother came out ok.

I've worked with murderers, who're crazy, in psychiatrical care. I know what's out there.
