Gerry and Kate

We do not have a faith, but we sincerely hope that your prayers and those of the rest of the nation are answered and you get an outcome to the horror in which you must be living and Madelline is returned to you. Our thoughts along with the rest of the UK are with you day and night.

We light a candle every night for Madeleine. We pray for her safe return. Our thoughts are with all the family especially her mother and father. My little girl is wearing a green and yellow ribbon in her hair on Thursday at nursery for good luck.

So very sorry to hear of this horrible event what sort of wicked nasty person could take a sleepin child whether left alone or not it is a very sick world we live in!!! This little girl must be terrified and wondering where her Mummy Daddy and little siblings are PLEASE WHOEVER HAS HER LET HER GO BACK TO THE PEOPLE SHE SHOULD BE WITH SHE IS NOT YOURS AND YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE HER!!! Leave her somewhere she will be found safe and well if you don't want to give yourself up just let her family get her back they must be going through hell, you don't deserve to get away with such a shocking crime but that little girl just needs her family around her so do the right thing. To all the McCann family my thoughts are with you all day every day i hope you soon get the missing piece of your family back VERY SOON she should be with you please stay strong and i hope you are all reunited soon love to you all x x x x <peacedove>

This is a heartfelt message of love and sorrow for the family of beautiful, innocent little Maddie.

Your anguishing ordeal has reached Toronto, Canada and everyone feels your pain. Maddie has touched the hearts of minds of millions of people.

I would do anything to help. I am a high school teacher with a four year old daughter. I think of Maddie and how she is feeling each minute that goes by. She needs to know her family is searching and will never give up. All she wants is to return home to her mother and father.

Please keep the media attention high and know that people as far away as Canada are keeping their eyes open, saying prayers, and wish we could do more. The whole world needs Maddie home.

My thoughts are with the family of Madeleine McCann at this very distressing time. I am not a religious person but every night I pray that little Madeleine will be returned safely to her family, as a parent myself I can not begin to imagine what the family are going through. Where ever you are madeleine I hope you are found soon, and the people who have taken you from your loving family are bought to justice.
Three-year-old Madeleine McCann from Rothley in Leicestershire disappeared from a holiday apartment in Portugal on Thursday 03 May.

The Portuguese police are continuing to search for her, and vigils have been held in the county for Madeleine and her family.

i would just like to say how surprised i am.it seems a lot of the people on this sight are in dispute with one and other over the decisions that McCanns made to leave their children alone.
I can see why people would be shocked at the decision and i can also see why people are defending the parents.
i am not a parent so i cannot make a comment on whether or not i would make the same decison.
what i can say is how much i feel for the parents and family right now, i am sure they are feeling very bad about what has happened and are probably regretting their decision.
but i am sure they would feel a lot worse if they were to read some of these comments.
i ask you people to put your selves in their position and imagine how you would feel at this moment in time. i'm sure their intetnions were not to put their children to any harm but unfortunatley it has lead to this.
lots of people make decisions that others would perceive to be wrong.
we should all offer support and wish that no harm will come or has come to this poor little girl.

I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard that Elizabeth Smart was found "alive and well." I pray for the McCanns and for everyone else like me who is heartsick over this that very soon we will hear or read the same words. Please God, let us learn that "Madeleine McCann has been found alive and well."

I agree as parents we all make mistakes, however this wasn't a mistake this was a clear case of child neglect and it has put this poor child in whatever position she may be in now. One more small point, at first they told the Police the doors were locked and they checked every half an hour on the kids so basically what happened is they got back saw Maddie was missing and then discussed what they were to tell the Police about the nights events , it seems they put their own reputation above the fact of their daughters disappearance. Maybe the child did wake up and wander off and maybe if they had told the truth to begin with the police would have searched other places where a small girl may wander. Whatever the case lets face it those parents thought more of enjoying their meal than they thought of their childrens safety. And no amount of press and public hysteria will ever change that fact .

how do you know they were not telling the truth your message reads as if you think they had something to hide and concocted a story how you have managed to come to that conclusion amazes me?
