Gardening in North Oxford

Shame they've closed the wonderful gardening centre on the Banbury Rd. I went to Wyevale over at Hinksey and I've never seen such a forlorn looking garden centre. The plants were a complete disgrace and the staff seemed utterly demoralised. The best place locally is Steve Jebbett at Town and Garden in North Parade Avenue where he's doing a very good range of fresh bedding plants at competitive prices. Keener and better than the ghastly chains like B and Q.
