As the only person who could object to this is a bnp recruiting officer and candidate it is now obvious that said person is again misusing the bbc boards by blatant electioneering and is probably breaking election rules and certainly will be if he posts on election day. So thanks for the proof.

How did I know you'd say that? So, no more proselytising about name-calling, eh what?

If someone behaves like an ar5e I'll say so. And you're getting mighty close, Slimmers. I shan't, however, be commenting on airy fairy qualities such as arrogance as I don't think it's possible to read that from a BB post.

I was lucky enough to see The Burka Band last night live! They are fantastic!

The post linked another poster on this board to being said bnp recruiting sergeant and named him. The only person who could take offence to the naming of a bnp member is really that bnp member trying to protect their anonymity. By having my post removed it proves a poster on this board is almost certainly a bnp organiser from Shrewsbury.

Oh please use your brain.

I am criticizing those on these boards who hold bigotted ignorant and warped views who clearly have very big chips on their shoulders. The fact that they may be "white" is irrelevant. I am not critizing "your" culture. why is it to people like you, it's always 'us' and 'them'. I would just as much critisize the very similar warped bigotted views of islamist extremists, who, just like the several social misfits on these boards, they seek to be devisive.

Anyway, this has turned into a little bitching frenzy.

All the original serious discussions regarding this topic have already been discussed, and all the inctances of ignorant spoutings have been countered by a little common sense and facts. So there is nothing less to discuss now, leaving just bitchy comments flying round in cicles.

It is, of course, entirely possible to make arrogant comments and assumptions; and presumably, if you do so you are an arrogant person, or at least being arrogant in a particular stance, and such is very clear in postings. As for me behaving in the way you suggest, well once again I suggest that you are far from being squeaky clean in your language and attitudes.
How did I know you'd say that? So, no more proselytising about name-calling, eh what?

Just to clarify that last comment of mine: To categorize someone as "close to an ar5e" presupposes that your are qualified to do so, and that you are free from any such allegation yourself and of course to assume so yourself is an intellectual arrogance; hence you are hoist with your own petard!

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the House Rules in some way.

""I went to a school that was probably 50/25/25 white/black/asian, which is nothing out of the ordinary for a lot of people in British cities these days.""

I think that is great. Kids being brought up in an environment that reflects the diversity of wider society.

I went to school in greater london, and it was 95% asian. It was a shame there wasnt a greater mix of people, but the school reflected the ethnic make up of the area. The school acheived excellent results, infact beating Leeds Grammar School - which kind of highights the poor state of Education Leeds. It was great though, because everyone after GCSEs went on to do A-levels, and every single person went to University, taking up professions such as doctors, dentists, solcitors, pharmacists etc etc, whilst the 'white' school a few miles away, the majority left school at 16.

It really does highlight how expectation can play an important role in how children develop.

I simply do not believe this heap of pro-multiculturalism propoganda.

My guess (almost certain) is that you're a long-standing board user who's adapted a name which you think might provoke certain people on these boards.

"Everyone went onto A-levels and every single person went to University" I take it you're still in contact with every single Lawyer, Doctor, Dentist and billionaire you went to school with, right!!

Let's hope that the local council in that area of London doesn't decide to mix the "Asian" school with the "White" school, or else there might be a full-scale riot, much like what happened in Leeds when some bright spark decided it'd be a good idea...

"Several brawls broke out involving dozens of teenagers with police officers, supported by the force helicopter, called to restore calm."

Believe what you like but this user has far more credibility than a number of posters who post little else but bnp propaganda

It's amazing how these threads defer off the subject. Why not ban the Burka, it has been used in criminal activity, anyone can hide behind this veil and terrorise. Muslims need to think seriously here and say keep it in their places of worship. The costume is surely not adapted to this country. The ban would be beneficial to british security give and take people !!

Looking back on your posting history tyke_bhoy i think you should look a little closer to home to see who the nasty one is, i think you are more a bigot than most of the posters you accuse of this.
