Should Stuart manage the U21s?

The decision of the FA to appoint Stuart Pearce as manager of England Under 21s is one which is bound to split opinion amongst City fans.

On the one hand, it shows just how highly he is thought of within the footballing community. On the other, despite being excused one international in March, it takes him away from his club duties.

There's little doubt that Stuart thinks it is the right decision for him, but is it the right one for the club? What impact will it have on City?

I think Pearce hasn't even proved himself at club level, never mind international. City's performances in recent years prove that.

I think there should be a full-time coach for City and a full-time coach for the England U21s. This is only going to distract him and he wont be able to do both jobs.
