Can anyone tell me if there's a `Vodafone ` agent in the airport ? I'd like to get a SIM card when I arrive , so I can contact my wife ASAP.

To be honest, I don't think there is, unless WH Smith sells them. Once you've got through security it's one of the only shops I can think of that would sell them.

I think you'll find there's some normal phone box's about.

Be a bit cheaper than mobile costs and provide the same service, the means of making a phone call.

Thanks for that ! It's just that with the 13 hours difference between England and New Zealand, it's easier to text my wife. Around the time I arrive, she will be off to work, or at work.
I had a look on the airport website, and I agree W H Smith does look the best bet.
Thanks once again. Maybe they have an outlet in North Petherton. Will just have to `play it by ear` ! ;-)

North Petherton is too small to have a WHSmith outlet. However, Bridgwater is just a few minutes up the A38 and has both a WHSmith and more than one mobile phone shop.

Thanks again for that info. Mum's residing in Sydenham House, Bridgwater, which will be my first `port of call`. I'll sort out my phone there. Cheers.

No problem. I worked in Bridgy for 13 months, so I know it reasonably well. If Sydenham House is anywhere near the Sydenham Estate, though, that's some way out from the town centre, so you may want to take your car to one of the Pay & Display car parks on Northgate before heading for the shops. After that, go out of town on the Taunton Road (A38).

As Bristol Host points out there is certainly a WH Smith 'landside' at the airport, just to your right as you emerge into the 'meeters and greeters' area in the arrivals section.

Could you order a sim card via vodaphone web site?
