Noah's Ark

A Conservative councillor makes a joke about Noah's Ark, and gets de-selected by some half brained idiot, who needs to get a life. I always thought the Conservatives had a bit more intelligence than that, but obviously not. If it had been a Labour one I would expect it.

A perfectly reasonable decision. I hope his feet didn't touch the ground.

Something about having to take gays (or gay animals) onto the ark...

Are we at the point where some take offence on behalf of others.

I have (had) a flip board on my desk. It's an age thing. It has quotes on it like 'Ageing, it's not for the feint hearted' and 'I'm having a senior moment'. Stuff like that.

One of the bosses called by. He's a young man (certainly younger than me) and he commented that someone (not him, he pointed out) might be offended and that I was to get rid. How stupid can you get?

I found it amusing. Sadly the basic British sense of humour is being stifled by the pc brigade. Heres the link to the story.

Noah would NOT have taken any 'Gay' on board as he had been instructed by god to bring a male and female for breeding and restocking, after the flood. I think Gods instruction would be classed as over rulling any PC brigade there may have been at the time. As for the Conservatives, they are as bad as the other two parties. You begin to think that the ghost of Cromwell has arrisen and all fun and amusement is banned. The British sence of humour is renouned through out the world, we laugh at everything, mainly ourselves. Is it part of the EU constitution that we must have only the sence of humour of the Germans?

A 'Half Brained Idiot how needs to get a life'? Classic Tory.

"I always thought the Cons had a bit more intelligence than that'? Classic Tory.

'But obviously not' Classic.

Nobody ever said a Tory could claim convidence of rational conviction. One mans common sense is anothers prejudice. All Tories are arses - just a joke.
