With regards to the saga of the delays in the building of the new Wembley stadium. When the plans were first being drawn up for a new national stadium there was the opportunity of it being built in a central location which would have been be fair to all football fans in the country.
But of course as soon as London got its greedy hands on the project it was never going to be built anywhere else.
This discriminates against all North East football supporters it is very unfair that while fans of London and south east based clubs will be able to pop round the corner to watch games, North East fans will face a 500 or 600-mile round trip.
In the future all England matches, and important club games will be played at the new ground. Once again the interests of the people of London and the Southeast are looked after at the expense of people here.
There is no reason why people of this region should support England in future.
As someone else said previously the team should change its name to “London United” it would be more accurate.

Its the greedy workers that F'd up Wembley

They will hold it up until the Olympic build starts and they will then pass their parasitic effort over to that project.

Well there was no problems with Arsenals new club ground or Cardiffs millenium stadium or the Manchester Commonwealth stadium.
When projects like this don't blame the workers its down to incompetent managers in this case the FA and that Aussie construction company.

It's the same old story - London is the centre of the universe and nowhere else matters, so London HAS to have EVERYTHING.
