Here we go again. Torquay one - nil up and what do we do? SIT BACK and hope. Would the statisticians please tell me how many games over the last 3 seasons we have taken the lead and the sat back and lost. I had hoped that Ian Atkins would produce an attacking side who would continue to that for the full game. Cut out the high ball forward business, lets see football the Torquay United way and stop sitting back.

I think any Bristol Rovers follower would tell you that you won't see much pure football played with Ian Atkins at the helm.

Route one (or kick-and-rush as it use to be called) was usually the order of the day at the Memorial Ground.

Of course, it may be that Torquay has more skilful players than the Gas and IA will return to his first football love - the pretty-pretty stuff.

I wouldn't hold my breath though.
