If you get no answers after two weeks, I guess they like nothing about Radio Oxford.

Missed this when it was posted so 2 weeks in here goes. I live in London, so here's my perspective for what it's worth:

First they have the sense to bring in R2's best presenter, Richard Allinson.

Second, his shows are every bit as top quality as on national radio - so someone is letting him do what he does well. (Compare the awful mess that Radio 2 is in right now, where the controller is putting her own stamp on the station and driving listeners mad with frustration - see the thousands of protesting posts on their MB)

Third, when I and other listeners asked for a 'Listen again' feature so we could hear RA at times other than Sunday, it was done in a few days.

Enjoy your local radio - it's a winner.

I Think Radio Oxford is Fab since they had the fantastic sence to employ Richard Allinson on Sunday mornings. Great show, I do wish he was on more often. :-)

What a brilliant station Radio Oxford is.

Earlier today I called them up and spoke with a really nice/helpful individual and enquired "What's happened to the listen again feature in respect of the Richard Allinson show that played on 9th April".

Not only did the person I spoke to look into my enquiry but they called me back to advise "we are on the case".

Tonight I see they have posted a message about this to advise the listen again feature will be available shortly.

Just fantastic service-what really great people they have at Radio Oxford-they seem to care about their listeners.

Absolutely, Mark.

Anyway we have double bonus this week - not only the R Oxford Sunday show (great as ever) but Radio 2's Steve Wright slot is all the better for Richard's appearance this week.

Keep the RA campaign going, Mark. There are plenty like us out there who want to hear more from him.

And again, thanks to Radio Oxford. Local radio as it ought to be.

The listen again feature in respect of Richard Allinson's show that went out on 9th April 2006 has been restored.

That you so much Radio Oxford-you are a great radio station.

Why not bring in Richard Allinson to cover for some of the mainstays when they take their holidays etc.

Richard would be excellent on Radio Oxford's Drivetime show.

How about it?
