Well, they (the 'good image' people, that follow top people everywhere made a point of saying that he'd paid his families cost for the holiday(?). But did he fly an airline with 200 other poeple?.....probably not....and did he pay for the army of guards and advisors?.......probably not

Well done Tony...do us all a favour and stay there.....and perhaps persuade your gang of cronies to follow you...Brown, Prescott, Blunkett....all of you...for gawds sake go!!

It's a great pity he didn't take all his left wing loonies with him, like Hewitt, Clarke, Blears and that dim wit Harman. I would pay for the tickets myself if I thought they wouldnt come back.

Blair is a crook, I really cannot understand why the people of Sedgefild vote for him. He is a proven liar(wmd)is a poor judge of people, Blunkett and the ticket scandal, plus others, Meddlesome and his house an steel mate, Byer the liar, Hewitt, the illegal jobs for the girls, Jowell who doesn't know about a £340,000 gift to hubby, whitewash man Hutton,Prescott who doesn't pay his community charge, the list goes on. Blair a very poor judge of character. Plus all the soldiers who he sent to die in Iraq. The man has no conscience.

Yup, he is pretty crap on that basis.

Serious point though, who else is there? None of the opposition seem to be able to hold it together long enough to challenge him. If there was a solid alternative I doubt he would have got in again

I would rather have the Conservatives now, Labour is definately the party of sleaze. Not only the government, but Mrs Blair as well, she's just a money grabber, and uses her husbands position to enrich herself. There is nothing like a vain woman for promoting herself.
Blair is well passed his sell-by date, he cannot be trusted, and we have an ex wine waiter as deputy PM, what a laugh, imagine Prescott running the country in the absence of Blair. They are all on the fiddle, that education minister, Kelly has alot of explaning to do over her expences claims. How on earth do these people get where they are. We ahve Blunkett still an |MP after his crooked deals.

The new Tory leader does not take me in for one minute by his attempts to give that party a new image.
This is the party whose economic incompetence produced not one but two massive and long lasting recessions, which had a devastating effect on the Northeast both economically and socially, with the destruction of huge amounts of our traditional industry.
When they were in power The Tories gave us 15 % interest rates, which led to suffering for millions of homeowners throughout Britain, and David Cameron was a leading government advisor at that time.
The Tories claim to be the tax cutting party but when they were in power the only people who benefited were the rich as the tax burden was switched to VAT which affects the less well off the most.
And it should be remembered that crime increased 100% between 1979 and 1997 when they were in power so the Tories canít claim to be the party of law and order either.
Overwhelmingly the Tories are led by wealthy, privately educated men from down south.
The Tories remain the political party who represent the interests of the rich, the powerful, and the privileged.

Do tell, where exactly can one find the figures for crime increasing 100% between 1979 - 1997(18 years)? If we still used the same criteria (which we don't) what would be the increase from 1997 until the present time(9 years)? VAT is an EU invention as I am sure you well know, but when you've an axe to grind by all means don't let the truth get in the way eh!! I could go back and pick out more than one or two pretty nasty things about Labour Governments including the one we have now but not being a Socialist and a class warrior I prefer to look forward not back
