In these times of meritocracy, it is surprising that there are still western parliamentary democracies that still hold on to the concept of monarchy. After all, you would not choose your dentist on the hereditary principle yet many parliamentary democracies continue to cling on to this perhaps anachronistic tradition. Royalty are a total waste of space. Pompous Andrew, or air miles as he is known, that insignificant twit Edward, social climber Sophie, grumpy Anne, Charles who wishes he was a tampon. The Queen does a good job, but that greek twit of hers is useless. Keep the queen and make the others work for a living.

Yes, anything is better than a President, just look round and shudder if Blair, who thinks he is, ever was. A Monarchy brings stability.

President Blair, what a thought. Phoney Teflon Tony, failed QC, failed PM, arrogant and pompous, thinks he's God. A wife who is a scrounger, and deals with crooks(the Bristol flats), she can never be a High Court judge with that hanging over her, unless her friend, the Lord Chancellor pulls a few strings.
