Well, I'm not writing this in the third person...
I'm a staff journalist for a magazine which shall, at least upon these pages, remain nameless. In addition, I do some freelance journalism (mainly music, health and fitness or environment related) and the odd bit of content/copywriting stuff (corporate blogs, press releases). Whenever I don't have a pen in my hand, there is likely to be a large mug of coffee in its place. I like coffee. Lots. Other favourite things of mine include skirts (especially floral ones), playing frisbee, flip flops, magazines, lomo photography and Haruki Murakami novels. I'm also developing an interest in typology. Interpret that how you will. Lomo stuff coming as soon as I find the time to scan some. http://www.planetnotion.com... is where you'll find monthly music reviews by yours truly (also in the print version of the mag which sits on the newsstands). http://www.pixelsurgeon.com... is a fantastically good example of a magazine that actually works online. There are news items, reviews and interviews penned by people like, erm, me. (Search for Freddie Kruger, Trost and Diesler in the 'interviews' section for examples).  |
