A hungry low-brow pop culture vulture
Favourite TV shows you say? Well, all Chris Morris stuff, Partridge, Spaced, Seinfeld, Peep Show, Big Train and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I have an affection for animation, primarily Battle of the Planets and Gatchaman, Futurama, Ghost in the Shell, Batman: Animated and Akira. Favourite authors are Alan Sillitoe and Jeff Noon. My area of expertise is comic books - not fashionable, cutting edge comic books, but obvious, old-school traditional American ones from the two titans, DC and Marvel. I think they're massively underrated, but kind of like it that way.
