games contributor I knew that my original plan to become a mermaid was probably never going to work out when my parents failed to locate a suitable tail in the depths of rural Somerset. In my despair, I turned to computer games for comfort and have been hooked on them ever since. I now write regularly for the Guardian newspaper and can also be found, from time to time, in the pages of PC Zone magazine, Hotdog, SFX and The Sunday Times, plus a whole host of other weird and wonderful places. Alongside those shenanigans I also have a part time job as a games script writer and story designer. So, in my own small way, I’m actually trying to help improve the industry I’ve spent so long mouthing off about.
