So, this is goodbye Collective.

All good things must come to an end as they say, and here it is.

I've written tons of stuff for this site, it's been lauded, loathed, criticised and critiqued but either way I've enjoyed it.

Writing my opinions on music has always been a pastime of mine since I wrote for the Student Union mag back in the day - I think I've refined my art and maybe if I was a bit younger I could have gone into music journalism full-time. But hey, such is life.

I'd like to say a few things before I sign off properly, so here goes.

Firstly - to my students who read this - do some bloody work for once! You're not given GCSEs in slacking and you've only got 4 months to turn it round.

Second - to the one who I won't mention - send me a message, damn it!!!
