Senior Content Producer - Rowan
Hi, I’ve been a producer on Collective since it launched in 2002. I’ve done art, books, games and web stuff and also been the community producer and hostess for Collective.
I studied Fine Art (film and video) and expected to be unemployed for a long, long time as a result. I still make art, usually of the drawing and photographic kind, but mostly I work on some books I've been writing for a few years. I’ve binned one novel, am writing one, am planning one and also have a graphic novel and a children’s book on the side… Maybe one day I’ll send something to a publisher.
I ended up working at the BBC, first as an ex-Communist countries archivist and then as a message board moderator where I spent the day reading about all things from Snow Watching to learning Elvish (Lord of the Rings had just been released then). I'm now almost fully recovered.
