exams, check. coursework, check. The summer has arrived.
I've been really busy recently, but I can't quite put my finger on where all the time has gone. Last weekend I went to Paris (with my girlfriend, it was very nice). This week I've mostly been planning for Rare FM (uni radio station), and organising a BBQ, which we had last night - pretty successful.
Collective seems to be moving faster than I can keep up. I've seen a few of these 'selected reviews' and have no idea what they are? The upgrade seems to have been done, with the age-old problem of having to subscribe to your own articles finally fixed. Plus there's community tracks to listen to, and Dave's even mentioned that he managed to get Consumed to be a 'featured link'. All very exciting.
Cultural things I've seen/done of late include Tate Liverpool (fantastic Gormly 'field' installation), The Unbearable Lightness of Being (loved it), lots of gigs and The Louvre (in Paris, got in free on the Monday after 6pm).
On the website front, I've been trying to keep up my own blog (at http://www.frankieroberto.com/weblog... ), now using Moveable Type (though still using XSLT templates), posting stuff to Consumed Blog (though not the magazine yet), and managing http://www.rarefm.co.uk... - this last site i'm quite proud of. The MT backend means lots of people can post to it easily, we can do RSS feeds, and the pages can get comments. We're putting quite a lot of gig reviews up, and they're starting to attract comments and climbing up Google.
I'm still living in Hackney until mid august, though most of my flatmates have left so I have the house to myself. It looks like next year I'll be living in Camden again, this time in a posh (relatively) flat with 3 new friends.
