PS3 owner? European? The Vote is underway! post 1
comment by The Realist    Mar 21, 2008
As a rule of the consumer industry, Europe always gets overlooked, treated last, smaller content. Not only for PS3 but everything in general from electronics to food to services.

Well that is going to change, for PS3 in Europe anyway with regards to information from upcoming release, progress and getting our questions answered once and for all.

threespeech is not official, the site 3rd party, the information not concrete.

A Vote is underway on the Official Playstion 3 EU Community. We want an official blog for SCEE like it does exist when SCEA (America's region). We cannot get answers relating to Little Big Planet, Home, PlayTV and the like. We cannot address the slim pickings from PS Store compared to North America and Asia.

Here is the link: http://community.eu.playstation.com/showthread.php...

Join us and make your voices heard. Even if you join for a few minutes, vote, then delete you entire profile. Just vote with us. France is, Germany is, you name the EU country and yep, we have already rallied them. And the response is looking very, very promising.

360 fanboys, we know you will comment, but you are in the exact same boat. Go see how Microsoft treats the Americans and you will see you have as much an uphill battle for equality as everyone else. Those Halo 3 games don't cost $60-$70 in wallmart and you know that. Instead of immature comments, I suggest you start your own vote to make Microsoft hear that enough is enough. Equality should be mandatory in the EU, the largest market in Planet Earth... the real big profit place.

PS3 sucks.....

Only joking, well kind of.

As Europeans, we have put up with these sort of antics for some time, and are treated as second class consumers.

Now I'm not sure how European sales stack up against those of Asia and North America, but I'm sure they don't compare so poorly that we get such a crappy service.

We pay a premium for all products that our Asian and American 'friends', get at a much more reasonable price.

What we really need is a European company to develop a games console. Only then will we be treated the way that we as consumers deserve to be treated.

I've had enough of paying more and getting less, I'll sign your petition, even though you opted for the lesser next gen console!!!

Poor chaps, isn't hindsight a wonderful thing...

TBH, I'd never have guessed the 360 was to be the better of the two.

Me neither. I was always a playstation fan but the 360 surpasses (for game quality) the ps3. Although my 360 broke yesterday which is very fustrating. In the whoever many years its been since the ps2 was launched, Ive never had 1 problem.

I got the dreaded RROD back in Feb, but luckily when I switched it off and back on, it was ok.

It must have gotten pretty hot, but I suppose it would after an 11 hour marathon of Search & Destroy on COD4!!!

Have you got R6V2?

I bought it on release date and have been playing through campaign, and I have to say the campaign is even better than COD4, I just hope the online play is decent.
