dan, dark sector hasn't been well received. I would try before you buy. It would be awful to have it sitting there for ages then finaly playing it and its crap. The spinning blade does look great though.

Have I got you monkey? Are you jojothemonkey or is that someone else?

I didn't play COD3, I was always more into Medal of Honour games, then I got bored of WW2 games altogether, COD4 was a refreshing change.

I only ever play Search and Destroy MP and it really is amazing.

I also like the custom weapons/perks and challenges - were these in COD3?

Challenges can be really fun, or sometimes a real pain in the ass. One of them is to destroy 5 vehicles so you get guys on your team chucking grenades into cars, just as you are about to run past them and you get killed.

Hardcore S&D is even more fun as if your teammate is about to defuse the bomb, you can run up and knife him, then get the defuse yourself, but if they're using the martyrdom perk you get blown up and the other team wins.
