becks futures post 1

The work by sakia olde woblers is stunning, one and all and for different aesthetic reasons.
Originality is a funny old word, we strive for it, we strive to seek it out, and we strive to discover it.
When we do we embrace it, hold it dear until some snooty nosed git comes up and says it reminds them of...(therefore not quiet as original as first we thought).
The work(flytrap, flower and kilowatt especially) are stunning because the interlope the worlds of digital and digital reality. The cinema pictures have a vaudeville victoriana quality about them mainlly due to the sephiaesque colours within them.
I always like the Becks Futures because it gives us a look at those coming through and what to expect. If saskia is anything to go by it is looking good.
In the end originaty shouldn't matter as much as quality. As it happens it is both stunningly good and original.
