Please don't think this is anything to do with any previous form of transport (see my space if you're confused) but my favourite painter is Edward Hopper. That's why I've taken to Koen's work so well, because there's something unmistakably Hopper-like about his fascination with light and stucture. See, I loved the way Hopper could make an ordinary building in the middle of a town seem so lonely and deserted by using nothing but light and shadow. It draws you in.

Koen's style seems similar (from these three images), although slightly less technical. I would dearly like to see more of this, as it seems right up my street!
