There's been a few seminal books about graffiti, such as Subway Art, which helped make a New York phenomenon worldwide, and it's follow up Spraycan Art. Some have concentrated on particular areas or artists, such as the books on Dondi and Futura. Nearly all the books written have had limited crossover appeal.
However, Stencil Graffiti might be different. Written by Tristan Manco, a graphic designer with a love of graffiti art and stencils, it looks and reads great, and wouldn't be out of place on any cool urbanite's coffee table. Many will be familiar with Banksy, who's guerilla tactics in spraying anarchic stencil messages in London and worldwide have helped boost this street art form. This book features him, but also many others, from all perspectives, including fine art, corporate subvertising, etc. I'd definitely recommend checking it out http://www.stencilgraffiti.com... http://www.banksy.co.uk...
