Known to British viewing public as the flame-haired, neck-braced sociopath from Big Brother's Little Brother, this show is a DMT trip through the crazed tubes of AM's celeb-stalking mind. Not sure if Avid is the name of the artist or the character. Same guy did a character called Barry ??? on T4's Popworld.
Similarly scatological, faux-naif juxtaposition of interviews (The Bear, probably the single most disturbing/funny element) and be-masked parody. Craiiig David and The Osbournes vs Michael Jackson probably worth the price of admission alone. The rendering of the freakish celebrities is strangely reminiscent of Jigsaw's Mr Noseybonk http://www.lynn3686.freeserve.co.uk/jigsaw/noseybo... and definitely owes a lot to Spitting Image. The effect of this programme is like falling asleep while reading the TV Go Home book. Your dreams become infected by haunting images of deranged pop culture squattings. This will be one of those shows that you'll need to be able to riff on whether you hang with latch-key twelve year-olds in Romford or magazine editors in Clerkenwell.
