Bloc Party album review
by: benyboy86  04 july 05
Bloc Party - Silent Alarm
This album is everything a good London band should sound like. A perfect album to either have on in the background or blasting out through the speakers. The music of Bloc Party is summed up in two words: Exciting
and unpredictable.
I've actually thought of a good plot for a third Mission Impossible film. Tom Cruise sets out to find one person who doesn't like Bloc Party - he'd have his work cut out for him! Forget the scaling over
speeding trains and hanging from cliffs mullarkey, if the film contains Bloc Party music, it'll win all the oscars available! Bloc Party display their diverse
ability by being able to produce both catchy rock tunes (Helicopter) as well as sweet, subtle love songs (This Modern Love). An album you can listen
to over and over again, and yet realise new bits of intuitive genius each time you hear it. Silent Alarm....A modern day masterpiece? I think so!
